On April 10, as part of the two-day FITO Days program, we organized a focused workshop within our research group.
FITO Days brought together both educational and team-building activities. On Thursday, the entire FITO department worked on science communication and planning future promotional activities. This provided a broader perspective on how we present and share our research.
On Friday, we shifted the focus to our MICRO research group. In a small-group workshop setting, we took time to reflect on our current research directions and, more importantly, to think ahead. Through guided discussions, we explored new ideas, identified unexplored questions, and considered possible future directions for our work. In a second step, we moved from ideas to implementation — discussing what knowledge, resources, and collaborations might be needed to turn these ideas into reality.
The workshop created space for open discussion, creativity, and strategic thinking, helping us align our individual research with shared long-term goals.
